Café Klima recommends Co-working Pays Basque

This is how Cyrielle Durand introduced her talk about the Coworking PAYS BASQUE when I asked her to speak at the last Café Klima about the place that hosted us.
And I can’t agree more with her because this coworking space is truly special. There is no boss, no management, no one in charge. All decisions are made collectively and it has worked for more than 12 years. Sometimes it takes a while to choose a new coffee supplier or to actually get a shower installed, but it also happens that there’s suddenly a compost in the small garden and an expanded bike parking area.
My first encounter with the coworking space was when I still lived in the Netherlands and joined along with my boyfriend for a drink. It quickly became clear that this was no ordinary coworking space and that the values of openness, respect, simplicity, and conviviality are genuinely upheld. Now, as a part-time nomad, I come here to work for a day every now and then.
I am very happy that with Café Klima, we can welcome our participants to a place like this that shares similar values.
