Café Klima practise: My influence on the system

🧩Café Klima practise: My influence on the system

🌾 During one year of Café Klima we used and developed different tools to achieve connection, inspirations and action within our participants. We’re happy to share our favorite practises.

🌐 When we look at the forces at play in the system we live in, we can feel small and insignificant: politicians are elected that you didn’t vote for, companies prioritizing profit over protecting our environment, local authorities making decisions that do not match our expectations for the challenges ahead.

🌅 This exercise helps broaden your perspective on what more you can do than just voting every 4 or 5 years, influencing companies through your purchasing behavior, or expressing your discontent through demonstrations.

💚 You work with a group on a topic that feels beyond your sphere of influence. For example, more high-speed trains within Europe, more plant-based food in restaurants, or a tax on CO2. By considering what you believe governments and businesses should do, you discover how you can increase your influence on these actions.

In short:
🎯 Discover more options to influence the system you live in
💫 Inspire to take action
👥 Groups of 3-8 participants

🗣 Do you know this or similar practises? What is your insight? What is your favorite action-oriented exercise?
