Café Klima inspired by ’maybe’

"Maybe my behavior inspires others"

In our green bubble, we often focus on reducing our direct impact (footprint). By finding creative ways to minimize it or by being even stricter with ourselves, we aim to lower our environmental impact.

At Café Klima, we aspire to explore the opposite perspective. What if our actions influence and inspire others to act more sustainably? This positive ripple effect can amplify our impact.

*Maybe* the plant-based meal you cooked for your friends inspires them to do the same at home.
Or *maybe* your story about your recent train travel encourages a colleague to choose the train next time.
Or *maybe* your bold decision to defy your coalition partners and vote for the European nature restoration law inspires other politicians to make bold decisions for the greater good as well.

It all starts with ’maybe,’ which doesn’t offer much security but provides space for letting things happen.

There are several names for these effects: Ombre climatique (climate shadow), handshake (instead of footprint), or water ripple effect (a small action can have a wide effect). Choose the one that resonates with you and move forward to inspire others.

We also incorporate this energy into our workshop designs with the message: Don’t feel caught in the belief that you don’t have influence, even if you’re told differently. Because every time you talk, share, or act, you’re part of creating a new reality—and *maybe* even influencing and inspiring others.
