💬 Café Klima inspired by Nonviolent communications

💬 Nonviolent communications works in every language

🗣 Recently, an Italian coachee shared with me a communication model she started using with success:
1. Naming the factual observation
2. Sharing the feeling it evokes in you
3. Expressing a request or need
4. Asking the other person for a response

🙃 Even though she used an Italian name unfamiliar to me, I recognized it as a model of Nonviolent Communication by Marshall Rosenberg. I was delighted that we immediately had a common language to continue working on her coaching questions.

💚 The principles of Nonviolent Communication are deeply ingrained in me, and we extensively apply them in our exercises at Café Klima. Sometimes more explicitly, and sometimes more subtly. I appreciate how this method helps bridge not only differences in opinions but also in cultural and language barriers.
